Early Career and Championship Wrestling UNLEASHEDEdit

Mordetzky began training for a wrestling career in his later teens, and eventually caught the eye of Paul Orndorff who recruited the young bodybuilder to join him at his Power Plant Training Facility. His eerie resemblance to Orndorff and his willingness to learn would lead to him becoming Orndorff's "apt pupil" and earn him a spot on the roster of Atlanta's Championship Wrestling UNLEASHED. He debuted in October of 2004, under the moniker Mr. Wonderful with Orndorff's blessing and scored his debut victory over Jeremy Lopez with Orndorff's finisher, the Spike Piledriver.

The new "Mr. Wonderful" flew threw the CWU competition and engaged in feuds with the likes of Cyborg Torborg, Cyberdoll, Mike Sanders, Robbie Rage, and high profile feud with Hardbody Harrison over whose body was actually the hardest. He defeated "Ice Cold" Ray Lloyd for the CWU Heavyweight Championship in March of 2006. He would hold the title for the remainder of his CWU tenure, where controversy would soon arise.
